We’ve lost track of the number of different loaves of Bara Brith we’ve served to customers in the Café. It’s a firm favourite after a long walk on the mountains, or even a short sprint up the hill.
There are so many different recipes for Bara Brith around and it’s impossible to know which one to feature. So over time, we’ll post a lot of different recipes. You’ll find it variously described as Cacen Pwdin or Bara Brith, and the end results can be anything on the scale from bread to cake.
One day maybe we’ll have a bake-off championship maybe to find a customer favourite.
